HAVE YOUR SAY

Your feedback will help us to understand the priorities and aspirations of the local community as we prepare our outline planning application for a new neighbourhood of high-quality, energy-efficient homes, a new care village and extensive landscaped open spaces at Coleshill.

Once you have had an opportunity to read an overview of the emerging plans, and view the interactive masterplan, please take a moment to complete our feedback questionnaire below.

Please ensure feedback is submitted by midnight on Wednesday 11th March 2026 to ensure that it is taken into account as we prepare to submit our outline planning application.

If you would like to be kept updated on the emerging proposals, the subsequent planning application and statutory consultation carried out by North Warwickshire Borough Council, as well as progress with the plans, please ensure you select “Opt-in to email updates” at the end of the form.

1. In light of significantly increased housing targets from Government, do you welcome our approach to addressing housing need with a sensitively designed, landscape-led development of high-quality homes and extra care facilities for older people at this sustainable location?

2. What is your priority for new homes in Coleshill?

3. Up to 50% of the new homes are anticipated to be affordable homes, providing opportunities for people on lower incomes to secure a home in Coleshill. Is this important to you?

4. Would you like to see the Borough Council apply Local Occupancy Criteria to the affordable housing at this development, ensuring it is prioritised for people with local connections?

5. The development will include a new care village or extra care facility, operated by local charity Father Hudson’s Caritas, enabling them to expand on their existing work in Coleshill, supporting adults with disabilities. Do you welcome this?

6. The development will be gas-free, with homes will be built to be net zero carbon-ready including air source heat pumps, solar panels and EV charging as standard. Do you welcome this?

7. Do you welcome the provision of extensive areas of new public open space for the Coleshill community on what was previously private land, including an area of country parkland, active travel routes, play areas, and areas of biodiversity enhancement?

8. Are there any outdoor recreational facilities you would like to see included in the extensive public open spaces, if possible?

9. It is anticipated that the development would generate significant investment to support and expand local services. What is your priority for infrastructure investment in the local area?

10. Father Hudson's Caritas are a local social care and community charity. They welcome ideas of projects, service provision and activities which would benefit the local community. Please share any further ideas you have for social care and community services.

11. Do you have any other comments or suggestions about the proposed development?
